The Torygraph should be screaming blue murder about how two-faced Cameron has been on this issue every day. Are they doing so? Of course not. It makes me laugh, all these fucking halfwits in the suburbs buying the Daily Telegraph and thinking that it makes them a good conservative, and that nice David Cameron who went to Eton will stick up for their interests. They're lambs to the fucking slaughter. They might as well stick their heads in the oven now and be done with it.

They usually put the words 'freedom', 'liberty' or 'democratic' in the title, see Democratic Republic of Congo, the Freedom Tower, Orange Free State, etc. You could call it something like the Democratic and United Liberty Providing Free State of Europe and America.

i dont know how there is such a dissonance between what the public wants and what politicians do. its so crazy to me. all these things decided for us, for our own good, in our interest, for our freedoms and liberties and protection. what bullshit. thats what they should teach you in school.. you'll be lied to and made to think you have a say. really you just mean fucking nothing, and they want you to work til you die. i dont know how that pep talk would go over.

I've been anti-EU for over 20 years, and the funny thing is that back in the day when people would laugh and scoff at you for daring to say that the ultimate intention of the EU was a federal undemocratic superstate (and yes they did laugh and mock at you), still many thought that it was a good idea in 'theory'.

Even as recently as 2005, the vast majority of British people were still in complete denial about the real intentions of the EU, even though the evidence was already there for everyone to see.

& by then, most people had access to the internet - instant access to information as opposed to having to go to the library in order to do a bit of research - so even less excuse.

If Cameron threatens to do enough vile things which go against EU human rights guidelines, people might want to be part of the EU superstate. Even now, it seems that plenty of people are still pro EU.
