MPs call for, in private at least, a 32% pay rise

Parliamentary survey shows majority believes £86,250 would be fair, with third saying final-salary pensions should be retained

MPs have privately said they want a pay rise, with the majority calling for a 32% increase that would take their annual salary to £86,250.

The survey carried out by the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (Ipsa) also found more than a third believe they should keep generous final-salary pensions.

The findings emerged when Ipsa published a report on its initial consultation on pay and pensions, which ended last month.

The survey, which politicians completed anonymously, found that 69% thought they were underpaid on £65,738. The average level suggested for the salary was £86,250.

At the least, you'd hope people won't go out and vote for them all over again. The problem is The Guardian are saying this now, but will tell people to vote Labour come election time.

MP's cost the country to much money,they should be scrapped,MP's are for ever coming up with schemes which are a waste of money to feed money to their business friends/crooks.

Each new party elected invents new schemes to take money which should be directed towards the good of the country and it's infrastructure ie the people and gives it to a few selected groups of people.

Each new government conspires against the public to steal from them,the government convinces the public it is doing it for the public's benefit by using a form of hypnotism and propaganda via the mass media outlets.

We should know better than that, there are very weak thoughts occupying this thread, this is what the men without hats expect of you.
The problem and link was posted, the readers reacted, my sollution is to make more avenues the claw back some extra savings to balance things out last year to over twenty grand saved, by simply reacting instead of moaning or getting angry.

The virus isn't going to go away, it is both cyclical and natural, spot when its coming and steer yourself around it.

Let the hand to eye coordination begin, then hibernation of your labour to the theives cease, there is no other way but to drop out and help like minded hamlets.
