Many of the above deaths will have been due to financial problems i would surmise leaving dependents with absolutely no money at all unlike peaches geldof's children.
So if suicide is the method of death some forum members want me to show favoritism over the one million other people who are not in the media.
No doubt most people won't give this story a second thought in a few weeks and will have moved on to something else to be sanctimonious about and to stimulate their emotions.
It really does remind me of when politicians show false grief or run out the tired line of condemning things in statements.
Don't forget if this is natural causes then the manipulation of emotions could be even worse.
Don't forget some people have a miserable life due to ill health,lack of water,lack of food,no home,poverty and then die.
I don't get where people get off telling us who we can and can't mourn over. Yes lots of people commit suicide. Are threads made abotu each and every one?No. Does that mean people can't make threads abotu certain ones? No. If the others mean that much to you, why don't you create a thread for each person that commits suicide.
Whether you like it or not, celebs are in teh public eye. It's human nature to take interest in current events, and at the moment one of those current events is a celeb dying.
Yes it's heartbreaking that lots of people commit suicide, and yes some of their families are left in a worse situation than Peaches' will be. Why should that mean people can't mourn her?
If your friend came over and was upset their friend had died, would you tell them to shut up and dry their eyes because people die day in day out? Or perhaps you'd say "Yes, well, this guy had
all his family die last week so yorus is nothign compared".
The simple fact is, if you don't like the topic and don't agree with people mourning celeb deaths, why the hell did you open the thread? It's very clear from the title what it's about. It's like me posting in a thread about bakery "I have no interest in cakes".
