Wow Indigo that was an awesome dream! Thanks for sharing! And even if it was just a dream, I'm glad you made it out of that horrible place!

Thank you, me too! I've had a lot of lucid dreams since. That one has stuck with me because it was so vivid and was kind of a personal milestone. :)

Another short I had a few months back (although maybe it was longer but it's the only bit I remember). I was in the garden of a nice house (in America for some reason) I was with my mum and bro. It was a lovely summers day, sun shining, blue sky. That's when I suddenly saw a huge mushroom cloud. We started running towards the house. I threw myself to the ground and lay alongside the wall or whatever, facing away from the blast. Then I felt heat on my back and that's when I woke up.

Very fascinating dream, Indie! Thank you for sharing it here with everyone. I believe it is highly symbolic of you achieving some spiritual training and perhaps another aspect of yourself is what helped pull you through at the end. And maybe why you have been dreaming lucidly since this particular dream as if those dark forces were hindering you at some point.

Me, I can't leave the old house.

When Mother had custody of me, we lived in a house built in the 1890's. Every time I have a nightmare or confusing dream, I wind up in that house.

Have any of you ever woken up in a dream? :O That is unsettling!

I had a dream when I was a kid, I can't remember what the dream was about, but I can remember waking up in a bus stop. I was sitting on the floor in my Y Fronts :emb: Then I woke up...again :chuckle:

Here's a recent strange dream...

Friday night I had a dream I was sitting in a meadow with my cat. We were just lounging around in the tall grass. A white stag exited a dark forest at the rim of the meadow, and trotted over to where we were. My cat became frightened and flew away. Flying cats should be strange, but it seemed normal there. Anyway, this stag started to chat with me telepathically (even stranger still). He told me that my life would improve if I would stop resisting what I was supposed to be doing. When I asked what I was supposed to be doing, he said, "You'll know". I tried asking more questions, but he ignored me and trotted back to the dark forest. I laid in the grass some more watching clouds, and pretty much put what the stag said behind me. I woke up not long after, got ready for work and left. As I left my neighborhood, an albino deer ran in front of my car. I was pretty spooked to say the least. :O :D

I have done that before too. It's certainly strange. The strangest one was waking up in a motel and realizing that the person I was looking at in the mirror wasn't me. I freaked out and woke up. :D

I wish I had more "answer" dreams like that. More dreams about my life, etc. I tend to dream just random crap most of the time :chuckle:

And the Albino deer! :O That's got to be a message hasn't it? In case you forgot the dream, a reminder. Sounds like an important dream really!

I think a lot of people do have answer type dreams, it's just hard to remember them after waking up. There's a good chance that you have as well. I keep going over my dreams after I wake up to keep it fresh in my mind. So far it's worked well.

Seeing the albino deer was amazing. I've heard of locals seeing them here, but until a few days ago, I had never seen one in person. Stranger still was the dream involving one. Maybe it was just some really well-timed coincidence? I think you're right though, it could have been some sort of reminder. The odds of crossing an albino deer are slim, so what are the chances that I'd see one after dreaming of one?

I get that falling off a building thing - a lot. I don't suffer from the nekkid/undercrackers in public ones though, probably because I am actually nekkid in public quite a lot, so it's not big deal for me.

Ooo I love it! It certainly interesting that you would see an albino deer the following morning. This dream reminds me of one I had very recently about the white animals in standing in front of my house. They were a bit whimsical and wise. It was quite magical and emotional for me.

Loving all the dreams people! Looking forward to reading more :)
