Has Slooh been mentioned?

Slooh is really neat AND FREE!! You can view celestial events via any one of the telescopes they offer a link to globally, so your local weather is no longer a problem!

While watching the events, you can also listen to the scientists chat in 'regular people' vernacular a bit further down on the page IF you wish.

Did you miss the recent eclipse or transit? It's OK, Slooh has replays available! :cheer:

There is also a pay service that allows you to participate in a discussion forum, take snapshots of the heavens right from your computer, and even aim a big time, professional telescope via your home computer. There's loads of other cool stuff, too!

The free service only permits observations via different scopes, which is fine for me. :)
