And to all intents and purposes Salford and Manchester are one and the same (just don't tell anyone I said that, it's a rather contentious issue for Salfordians and Mancs!) I lived in Salford for the first 20 years of my life, consider myself a Manc though.

So towards the end of the video on the top of this page they are in Moss Side during the 80's?

Could they still ride bikes in there like that nowadays?

Should i assume all of those homes were torn down long ago?

The roads are chock ablock and stinking,so riding bikes is not advisable around the manchester area etc and make sure you have a big lock...there are lots of places like that in the UK, especially in the poor run down areas,its still got lots of home's from the WW2 era. :eek2:

Houses in the area are predominantly terraced and go up on a hill in a typical Pennine mill town style. I dont really go for lists and it also depends who is compiling the lists...

Kind of reminds me of the surveys/census they do...Believe you me parts of the UK are just as rough as parts of the US ...
