One angle for watching this PJ stuff is that it enforces the sense of alienation, separation one experiences from Political, conscious, critical participation in the State the masses endure, he becomes the mediary for a mass conviction that remains undefined, unexpressed at the individual, material level.

My point is mainly that I prefer my own critique of the State, and Peter Joseph in reality with his comfortable life and good education etc isn't as well equipped as the majority of people to conceive or express a revolutionary approach to critiquing or addressing it's imbalances.

Thought should grow from experience not become lodged in the masses through constant re[etition.
PJ is an aspiring "philosopher king" imo.

Instead of making films for profit, he puts them out, and was involved in the running of TZM, for basically nothing, and still does a normal job to make ends meet. So I think this is a rather unfair assessment.

My point was more that his grand theories and visual aids replace discourse and 1st hand experience/accounts of the system.
The saturation his work receives in the alt/media replaces the organic development of critical perspectives from those actually involved in the struggle. To put it plainly I reckon many people relinquish their critical thinking abilities to prefer instead repeating the critical theories with conclusions they have seen on the internet. In a way by making spectators of us, making our critical interactions with the state based on external opinions, criticisms, ideals, he's reinforcing the alienated "herd mentaility" he talks about in the first vid. imho

Anything beyond that would require attention from the media/politics and none of that crowd are interested in throwing away their control of society and abandoning the monetary system for the 'majority' of people to see it and to be involved.

The trade unions btw had a strike here in Ireland when the bus drivers were going to take an austerity pay cut, they went on strike, had a meeting the next day and then decided to give some managers a pay cut too and then went back to work again.
