I do

i have the same problem with peta for example. where does it end, every sperm is sacred song?
That's just silly. A sperm is not a species. It needs to meet an egg etc innit.
unless we all die humans will become cyborgs in the future, there is no doubt.
so what will happen with artificial intelligence , will that count as life?
I am inclined to agree that at least
some humans will become cyborg. If an AI being is capable of self sustaining, replicating etc then yes it must surely be considered to be alive.
its not possible for me to see life as sacred, because things have to die in order for me to live. if i dont consider myself the top of the chain, i would have to tip toe around and be completely passive in regards to everything. mice in the house, or hornets in the soffets. you have to get rid of them.
The argument that you have to eat is just an old chestnut in this context. It is humanocentric (?) to think of us as being the top of the foodchain. Everything gets recycled. You and I are ultimately just food for worms and bacteria...if we're lucky. It's logical fallacy to say that this means you must be "passive" as a result but you can be. You don't in fact have to get rid of mice, or hornets. There are other choices. The key word being choices. You choose to see things that way, it is not an absolute. I have happily coexisted with mice and wasp nests for example. The onus is on us to be careful with our food and waste. Rats, I do take issue living with, thing is they will only live near a food supply so....
if you had brummies chewing your wires, you'd have to trap them, and if they wouldn't stay away you'd have to kill them. what if they got in your basement and bred, and started eating your trash and shitting everywhere? you'd be sorry.
If Brummies chewed me wires I rather think they might dispose of themselves
