OK I initially had it set to 20, dont know what happened there but it went back to the default 6.

Anyway i reset it to 20 again for now pending a poll or something if you guys want.

personally i prefer 20 as i like to load a page and read for a while before having to change pages again, though i know it can be a pain for some people in threads where multiple vids are posted.

hooray, thanks ya big nerds. i just knew when i cut that goats neck that the dark lord would hear my prayers. 20 works for me great.
at the other place i think i had 40 p/pg. it would always fuck up on long threads, telling me to go to page X, since everyone had different settings.

It was me what broke it, with a bit of late night mouse slipage in a very sensitive area of the backend.

As for the other joint I was the one who set it at 50 and I was complaining all the time. It was killing me loading 50 thread pages. The reason it needed to be at 50 was so that it could be scraped to harvest the data for migration. It was all set so we could move quickly when the time was right. Sadly there were too many issues and time constraints to allow us to suck up all the data and stick it down in our new database.

Ten or twenty does it for me.

If anyone has an old computer kicking about maybe they could donate it to Irrepressible, that ps3 browsing sounds like hard work.

i have a pc graveyard of ancient crap in one room. i have a 3ghz dual core kicking around some place and 2x2gig ddr2 but no mobo for em.

I don't do the whole hardware thing any more after throwing out a skip full. I will keep an eye out for mobo. Oh there maybe a Dell optiplex GX270 coming up soon.

P4 with 1gb of ram I think only a 40 or 80gb HD win xp pro or Ubuntu. It would be OK for web browsing.

well if anyones interested in that chip n ram, it needs a socket 775 mobo

To make an entry or even get to that menu option you need to login. Then there are options to add new entries or edit existing ones. The ads expire after 30 days and are deleted after 60. We will need to sort out how we will manage it long term.

As for my tv...it's a 32" Widescreen Philips SDTV. It's pretty decent, but I don't think it has a vga input...I'd have to have a look at the online manual.

I have got a Compaq monitor, part of a Presario package, not sure if it'd work on another PC though
