I switched myself to visible and I still cannot see my 'location', or is that the way it's supposed to be.

Pls advise.

Thank you.

Hi coco, this forum doesnt display a "location" in text as such.

Your location only shows when you scroll over that little house icon on the LHS under your avatar and post info etc. in the threads. :coolio:

Thats standard issue for this forum, its different to "the other joint"

Now that being said, i know you are probably wondering how I have a "location" as such in text.

Well ill let you all in on a not so secret secret :larf:

I havent done anything you guys cant do should you choose to...

If you go to your profile, and press edit, in the RH corner of the blue bar on your own profile page...you will get to your information that you can edit...i know you already know this part coco but ill repeat it for others.

then you will see an option called "personal text"

In there, you can write whatever you want, and it will show up as text on the forum in your posts.

for example, i manually wrote in my own "personal text"... Location: Lynns Pool House Web: ldereport.com/about/

Thats why i have a "location" displaying as text as such....another example is phem who has also filled in the "personal text" area, and now this appears under his avatar.

Gratitude. :notworthy:

I cite the example of Phem.

His location reads: Am I to understand there are no sporks?

I recall this from memory as I cannot witness his location during quote.

Also, I assumed that I could not see my own PM bubble, as it was my PM bubble and would not write myself, I never said anything assuming it would be stupid to see one's own PM bubble as why would one need to PM one's self?

Pls advise, when available, I want to be like the cool kids. :)

I can't see my own PM bubble either, coco, and like you I assumed that it was because I wouldn't need to PM myself! Hope that is indeed the case!

I can get my location when I point my cursor at the little house icon under my avvy. I don't know how phem has managed to put his location under his avvy like that, though!

Novum, you're a genius! A certified genius, I say! :skip:

Now I, too, have a visible saying.

And thanks to Mandy for confirming to me about the PM bubble. :)

Mandy, you can do it too! Here's what I did: I opened an additional window, selected the forum site, then selected my profile, and followed Novum's directions from the first window.

I admit I never noticed the field Novum spoke of as I did not know what is was. :)

I'll never be able to convince you of this, but I really never knew that link. I was referring to some foggy, un-cororrobating-able memory that was waaaayyy back there in me haid.

Maybe your links can stir that memory? I admit I watched waaayyy tooo much Night Flight back in the day....er the night. :spliff:

What is this 'Night Flight' of which you speak is it some form of entertainment shown to the local tribes in former colonies? :dunno:

GAAASSSPPP!!!! :O

You have knowledge of Krispy Kreme?!

He who is responsible for this heinous breach of security step forth now and face your fate! :axe:

We, in the American South, have no knowledge of this Crispy Cream you speak of.

I'm afraid malevolent persons with most ill intent have succeeded in fooling you. Listen not to those liars! Have a pleasant evening. :)

While the popular vote prevails - thank goodness! (I HATE the Electoral College), I like the look personally.

Still, I respect the popular vote, when and should it become an issue.

I too plagiarize.......seek the meshings of multi-mindsets and fresh ideas to build upon and help create a better and much more welcome world for all of us. :)

I was pretty well trained to shoot off the cuff, imagine if I had more time to think up better BS.

Anyway, I really do like the motif, and that's no BS.

NO, don't revert back. I like this, a lot!......but....
