As i said, the decision was made some time before that post of mine you mentioned, but not very long before.

I haven't really had much time to post here lately, and won't in the foreseeable future, as I've had and will have a lot of work to do. I definitely will not have the time to contribute to two forums.

But have I missed something? Has some specific incident or issue prompted this?

Those posts were pulled from SZ since they are FAQ posts that didnt need completely re-writing.

Infact if you compare to the same posts here on SZ in community chest, you will find the dates are identical with those administrative posts.

Its not a coincidence, its because that data was copied from here.

And aquila is an administrative account to check regular permissions. Again compare the registration date to here. Same.

That account data was also copied from here, as were all the administration accounts. There is no need to re-do them all when we know how to copy them, simples.

Our admin permissions are elevated so we need one test account that has the same rights as regular users. Most people who run a forum know this. Mods and former mods are aware of that account...it strictly never posts or interacts with anyone anywhere.

Dont take my word for it though, perhaps ask former mod abs who i told , and current mod feather who i told, about what that account is for. Its used to log in and check that you guys are seeing the forum as it should be.

I have more evidence to show when TZ went up in its current form so its up to you if you want to keep pushing this particular point.

As i said the admin accounts were simply copied to save the effort of re-doing them, as were a handful of posts, both for the same reason (not having to re-write it all) and a few for test purposes.

Frog did a really good job with the layout and design of Sanctum Zone.

Considering the incredible aesthetics of SZ im surprised anyone would wan't to start over.

This forum has been steadily growing and getting better day by day.

There might be a little drama now and then but the controversy just makes things more intriguing.

You guys had done such a great job at a critical time taking the disenfranchised members of DIF.

I think that announcing it out of the blue at 1 a.m in the morning has something to do with it. I think the way that everybody was kept in the dark until now has something else to do with it. I had just hoped that this was going to be a serious site where we discussed serious issues. I'm not sure how it got away from being that. I don't really participate that much, certainly not in any long discussions recently, because I've been too busy with my work.

But as far as I'm concerned I can only commend the people that build the site. And I think psketti should be mentioned as well because she obviously made a big contribution. I haven't lost any trust in them. I'm 100% happy with the way things are run here. I completely ignore the few idiots who try to spoil things.

I only came here in the first place because I was invited, and then when I got here there were a lot of people already here who I liked. I wouldn't have done so otherwise. But I definitely don't think DG, Frog, Novum or anyone else owe me anything, not even an explanation. I've never had any issues with the moderation, the rules of the forum, or anything else, and if I didn't trust the people that run it to do so in an equitable way, I would simply leave.
