It's changed hands about 14 times however it is currently English.

I'm not sure if we are fighting to keep it or fighting to get rid of it. The beaches there are shite :D

Why have two of my posts disappeared?

Allow me to explain... what you logged into before was an older version of the site.

The hosts just actually moved the whole site to another hosting server, and when you logged in, the posts hadnt been updated to include the most recent posts.

So it wasnt just your posts disappeared, but a whole bunch of posts, the most recent ones basically, no matter who posted them.

This is because the hosts use the last backup they took, which was a few hours old, a few hours before last evening/night UK time. Its standard procedure for them to transfer the most recent backup they have... and any forum posts made after that can be updated/brought over after its all working. (the SQL database dump n load... for andyh he knows what i mean :chuckle: yes it was done)

Shake you werent supposed to be able to log in at that time :hahano: , no one was, at one time during the migration.... I set the site to offline which blocks access... but I left a window open there when i was having connection issues, and looks like you got onto the site at that time.

So no posts were deleted, other than the one of yours I just quoted when we didnt want anyone online :hahano: you just saw an older version of the site, before the latest posts were transferred over.

And you were the only one who managed to get on at that inbetween time and post.

All the posts are back now.

I quite like Berwick too. (Handy if you have a witch to burn I believe. Especially if their name's Gilly. Not threatin', just sayin' :) ).

Gullane is probably the best bit of Scottish 'beach' I've been to but even then you have to walk about in yer speedos and divers boots to save being blown offshore.

Cramond/Silverknowes 'beach' where I hung about as a kid has an average sand grain diameter of roughly 1.3 metres.

No problem. I want to vote yes but I dont see myself going back to register in Scotland next year. No to SNP once we (hopefully) gain a new nation. No to the EU. No to the commonwealth. NO to trident. NO to mass immigration. NO to NATO.

One step at a time I guess. Would be nice to have a shiny new passport without seeing the unicorn in chains.

I'm trying to picture how a truly independent Scotland would work without the EU and with its own currency and with no trident or UK military bases or ship building.
Deserted wasteland comes to mind lol :)
We'd have to reinforce the wall again to stop the immigrants coming south :p :D

Fuck that andy, twould only be norveners that the haggis shaggers would raid for food. They'd never make it down to Kernow, they'd get waylaid snacking in places like mancland, scouse corner and shitfield.

I say dont rebuild the wall, better to spend the fiat extending the tamar up to the north coast and rendering Kernow an island...

Scuse me being all picky 'n stuff but I'm sure it was immigrant Italians who built that wall. :coffee:
Englishers never got around to it because they were too busy licking their wounds and kissing roman asses. :D

Ahh but you had Cornish icecream to trade which gave you an unfair advantage.
Nobody can be arsed fighting or buggering about building walls if there's icecream on offer.
