Brilliant pr. you say? Well, I'm not scared to voice my opinion on Apollo... But I don't see it so necessary I had to go to tell him at Ickes.

It's just that I DO NOT LIKE posts at DIF! Yeah, it's "personal" about opinions and shit.. I just commented about the guy, i agree with wake_up_bomb about this guy.

If some of you want him here, go and ask, no problem there.

And Hada is right about differing opinions and mindsets, it can bring lot of good things into discussion, OR it can completely destroy it...

Hey, DG, Apollo had huge fights over moonlanding stuff at Ickes... With so many others i don't even remember..

i read something today, if you have group discussion with many different inputs, the whole groups becomes more intelligent quickly.
ppl shouldnt be too afraid of different views and fall into mob mentality.
The thing is, Hads, he's not intellectually honest, as per numerous other people on there. He doesn't engage in reasonable or rational debate. I learnt a lot from many people on there, some of whom are on here, including yourself. He won't because he doesn't listen to other people. I'm all for hearing different points of view, but his only MO is to wind people up and act like a smartarse. I personally don't have any time for people like that.

Surely this forum should be an open place , to all. Not just a select few who we resonated with on the other forum.
I dont know how you would go about choosing who to let in, and who to refuse. How does that work :conf:

I think hads is right. He also just generally likes to disagree with people in a slightly rude way.

I would not unreasonably assume that this is him on here:

I think it's sorta "dangerous" to use the same nickname in every forum :p IF you're trying to stay "hidden" from other people. :P

Edit: And I didn't know that rodin posted in multiple forums, even though I guess it's sorta expected. :P

Says something about freedom of speech of UK servers though, and other places too. Even though DIF is a dot com URL, i believe the servers are located in the UK, though dont quote me on that.

Many other countries you can be in trouble, Australia for one, if i hypothetically post about holocaust and it doesnt align with the official story ill be in a court and perhaps in a cage before no time.

Frederick Toben was jailed here for simply questioning the numbers i think, not questioning the entire story.

When it comes to a dot au domain and australian server heck i wouldnt even post up a video of me in a car doing 90 mph, i would be put on the state 6 o clock news for that. :pmsl:

and the police would be round to confiscate the car for The Crown the next day :pmsl:

Yes they are very strict over there dear, nanny mcgree once tried to carry a wee clove of garlic in her handbag through customs. I like to use garlic for my arthritis dears.

Anyway they found it, and proceeded to cavity search and question me intensely dears, I was there for two hours in customs and fined $330 dollars by The Crown for garlic offenses.

I was treated like I was Pablo Escobar dears, and I shall not be returning again!

you know, there was a time when i actually considered moving to the usa, just because of what they are allowed to do to their cars, would be a great country if it werent for those continuously worse governments.

Yeah, it took a while for the authorities in Australia to catch on...they didnt really actually understand what some of those cars were, how fast and powerful they were, they just thought it was old cars you know.

Didnt last long, you cant drive pro street in Australia no more :chuckle:

That car up there, did a low 8 @ over 160 1/4 mile, wheelspinning down the whole track...it was really a 7 sec car but was still a road car so chassis was low tech...owner used to drive it all the time.

I was at that photoshoot for the magazine above...it was in the Adelaide International Airport...no bs, the neighbours rang the police and complained about the sound...in the airport! :pmsl:

Anyway it got to point where police would order cars like that off the road....honeslty its easier to have a newer car with hidden mods or turbos and keep them quiet so the police dont realise...though now cars can be actually confiscated for petty offenses, permanently...so its become waste of time tbh to have good car in Australia, old or new.
