After war was over he married the daughter of the family where he and Grandmother lay up in mortal danger for so long.

He helped himself to help others and in return you got me today to keep the rhythm on the right track.

Our family history, journymen farmers and shoemakers since 1508 all skint even today but skilled which.is worth ten fold fiat any day of my week today.

It's interesting looking at that craft as she's learned stuff that's basically ancient. You should see her face when confronted with any of that mass produced stuff that's hollow inside.

And regarding other comments, I think I might have underestimated the challenge of flatpacks, beyond the screw lucky dip experience. Progress has been made since the realisation sank in it's best to throw the instructable hierogylyphics labelled "instructions" straight in the bin and just work it out. Though Mrs Dogsmilk claims that's simply standard man behaviour.

i think mrs dogsmilk is right re assembly instructions - the number of times I have seen the men in my life throw them straight away.... not to mention the box of left over cables/nuts/bolts etc etc etc from any diy/technical project - have to admit the apprentice, gris and dub and jane (when we were on the other forum) all (amongst others) have inspired me to share my skills - so far a crocheted hanging herb garden has been made - and whilst I cannot make shoes I have handed out loads of crochet slippers and sun hats
