Plenty of open racist crap back then with no comeback whatsoever from mods.
It's not like they didn't see it
There is a fine line to be drawn on certain issues.
Many people were playing the "racism" card just because you had problems with mass immigration being used as a tool by Globalist elite.
Also Islam is not a race issue.
Neither is Judaism or any other mind control fear cult.
Pointing out the holes in the Holocaust story - a story with possibly the most far reaching consequences of the 20th century - is not a race issue.
Far too many posters were crying "racism" and "anti-semitism" about issues that needed discussing openly.
Denial that the worlds banking system is run by a number of Jews isn't going to get us anywhere. For a while before the appointment of Elizabeth Duke a few years back the Board of the Federal Reserve was 100% Jewish. I mean just how did that ever happen in a country where they comprise less than 2% of the population?
Rothschild, Goldman Sachs... need I say anymore?
As David Icke himself said... "it's the bloody Elephant in the living room".
Amaral, I think most if not all of us here would agree with you that such things as the monopoly of Rothschild Zionism over the banking system, the less savoury aspects of fundamental Islam etc are all things that need talking about.
However at the DIF, the situation was that certain posters were/are using these legitimate concerns as a platform to disseminate propaganda against the wider populace of say Jewish or Islamic adherents. These posters were/are only interested in blanket bombing the DIF with what can only be described as hate speech. It matters not whether Islam is a race or a religion, bigotry is bigotry. The way in which the 'race vs religion' card' was/is played at the DIF is just plain petty semantics used as a smokescreen for bigotry.
This is something that many many people noticed (it wasn't/isn't exactly hard to spot)
For some reason the DIF admin were turning a blind eye to it. Despite it being pointed out to them by us and others on many many occasions. For pointing it out to them we were rewarded with account restrictions, post deletions and ultimately, bans.
It's my and many other's contention that the situation was tolerated at the DIF because the threads where this sort of thing went/goes on often ran into hundreds of posts. Obviously those opposing bigotry would respond to the hateful crap and the bigots would respond to us. These large threads meant lots of hits on the site, which is all good for the site's revenue stream.
Disclaimer: This is of course opinion. However, Sean has been to this site's chat room and when this was put to him, he did nothing to disprove it and in fact swerved the question...

Agreed, it shouldn't be. It should be debated/discussed purely as a (problematic) religious issue, as a *belief system* issue. But somehow on the DIF it never happens does it? It always slides into muslim hating.
I know, I've tried debating it.
Pointing out the holes in the Holocaust story — a story with possibly the most far reaching consequences of the 20th century — is not a race issue.
Again, agreed it isn't/shouldn't be a race issue, and is a subject that should be able to be debated in a rational all round way.. But again, on the DIF it just always seems to end up as jew hating doesn't it?
“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”
That's the way I see things.
And if after "observation and analysis" some of the things you find are deemed "offensive" well sometimes you just have to offend.

^That is basically saying ''Question Everything'' right?
I'll go along with that.
I also believe that one can question everything in a non offensive way however.
I actually stopped posting on DIF for a few months recently, I got so bored refuting the same old nonsense. The forum was full of people deliberately derailing topics with shit or introducing dumb topics (disaster on this date... Elenin...).. just junk.
There is a classic example at the moment.
There is a good OP about the suppression (once again) by the US Admin (Obama) of 50,000 pages redacted pages on the JFK assassination. 50 years later and they are still holding back on Oswald CIA/FBI files.
So within a few posts the usual suspects or their socks are in and making it in a "The Driver Did It" or "Jackie Did It" argument.
It's so frustrating.
The people employed to trivialise internet forums are legion.

I am thinking if we see doom threads like that pop up here, we move them straight to the have a laugh section.
What do all you guys think?
I shouldnt be laughing, but hey, if those kind of threads are in "have a laugh" they will take on a different persona, and lets face it that is where they belong.
People have been crying apocalyptic doom for millenia, and it never comes. If i ever see a metor in the sky coming then i will reconsider.
ok peeps i just want to say, we are rolling out a new template and there will be some teething issues, there is a post about it in the Community Chest category.
Im saying this here because i see words in posts arent wrapping and moving to the next line when they dont fit at the end of the page, they are being split and hyphenated.

No, none of that.
I'm talking about direct personally aimed abuse and racism at certain members, one of whom is now on this forum.
Picha and transcendental stallion were a couple of the worst culprits.
They'll eventually turn up here btw :~)

For me, the distinction is attacking groups of people because they are those groups of people. Islam, Christianity and Judaism have all been going a long time and all have lots of different aspects to them. None of them are one thing and all of them have people doing bad things in their name and good things in their name. All three of them think they're best, but at the same time not all their adherents take a superior attitude with other people, though some do.
It's like when people bang on about Jews being the 'chosen people' - what do you expect? I have made a covenant with God that we are to worship Him as the one true God. But it's nothing special LOL
Christianity and Islam think they're the key to salvation and Christians in particular have a history of killling people who think otherwise. But that says nothing about that Catholic lady down the road who works in a charity shop or whatever.
Hell, Richard Dawkind likes going round saying I'm best cos I haz atheism
What happens is, people point to a religion doing bad things and starts saying These people are animals! This religion must be stopped! - becoming a wannabe oppressor themselves. The sane way to go about it is look at what particular people are doing. So Wahhabi Islam might deserve to come under fire because that leads down some unsavoury paths. But that's not Islam itself. Islam is whatever people make it. During the middle ages, Islam was more progressive and tolerant than Christianity was. Christianity was on the whole pretty barbaric - that didn't define Christianity in totality and doesn't mean anything about Christians today. Islam generated some pretty hardcore strains, but lots of Muslims are really nice people.
Another thing people do is start going through holy books and saying see! It says that! THESE PEOPLE ARE EVIL!. Well they can be. But you can find all kjinds of crazy shit in the Bible, but everyone knows very few Christians act it all out. Genesis has polygamy and incest in it - that doesn't stop Christians often being preoccupied with the sanctity of marriage and they tend not to shag their siblings. These texts were written at a different time in a different culture very alien to us today - people interpret them in accordance with their own world. Genesis is alo full of people being preoccupied with how many sheep they have - that was important then, but doesn't mean a fat lot today.
And Islam is not about beating women. I've known Muslim social workers who see domestic violence as a serious issue. I've met a lot of people who call themselves Muslims over the years and I've met exactly one who hit his girlfriend - and he did it because it was who he was, he never tried to claim it had anything to do with his religion. But it's obvious British Muslims might think differently to Sudanese Muslims or Idonesian Muslims or Saudi Muslims - because it's about nationality and culture and social influences as well. And even within a country, Muslims think differently.
Because the bottom line is, it's all about lumping huge groups together, saying they're all the same and slagging them off.
That is probably the biggest cause of war and death EVER. These people...th-they're animals! We gotta stop them! They're not like us! They have tails!.
There are over a billion Muslims in the world - how can they all think remotely the same? How can anyone know what a billion people are thinking? How is this not awesome?
How is this not awesome?

I'd say religions - like humans in general - have produced some extreme ugliness and brutality and some extreme beauty and profundity. I'm an atheist, but I love getting into Islamic/Christian/Jewish stuff - particularly music - and gettying with the vibe. I think God doesn't exist, but I can still get into the atmosphere of a cathedral and appreciate the devotion other people experience. I say, slag of the bullshit parts all you like, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. If you meet a Muslim, take them as you find them, don't decide they're like that just because they're a Muslim.
I am., however, deeply prejudiced against fascists and find it difficult to be open minded with them.
Sorry.
Christianity and Islam think they’re the key to salvation and Christians in particular have a history of killling people who think otherwise.
"In particular"?
I don't think Christianity is any more special in that department then the other two.
Islam has a trail of blood and conquest down the centuries.
Killing non-believers and apostates is actually a teaching of Islam, it's written in the Quran and Hadith and it has Muhammed as the "perfect" example.
Regardless of the crimes of Christians, you can't lay that charge at the door of the Biblical Jesus (who was pretty hot on not stoning people).
Jews will kill anyone God tells them to according to their own legends.
