Sloppy research, they probably spent too long reading the Icke forum and some of the methodology of their research rubbed off.

I can't say I haven't made completely self defeating mistakes of that nature before.

The other potential explanation is that the article is a purposefully created strawman, but surely Icke wouldn't engage in propaganda of that nature?

Maybe not directly, but maybe someone from his forum or in his name.

For me, the Jewish thing is illogical. Icke states that the reptilian entities are based on a hybrid bloodline going back to the ancient world. Jewish people aren't a bloodline. You can't substitute one for the other, it doesn't make any sense. You can quite reasonably say that there is insufficient evidence to back it up, but I think to accuse someone of anti-Semitism, if that's the best piece of evidence then I think people should be more circumspect in their allegations.
