I disagree...what Dawn was referring to was rape.

Rape has nothing to do with your sexuality and everything to do with exerting power over another, as Dawn also mentioned. Male adult survivors of rape often have trouble comprehending that the very reason they are sometimes singled out by perpetrators is because of their perceived 'manliness'.

I can see how something as traumatic as that in childhood could influence the thinking of the victim later in life certainly, but I fear we may have stumbled into some very murky water indeed here.
