I've no idea what they do . I'm not specifically referring to the N-A-N's, I meant it generally. I've read things on forums that have really helped me for example. In that sense I think forums can have a real world benefit and do have meaning.

The flip side to that possibly being that people can be led down the garden path by the content of some forum contributors' posts.

I hardly ever get involved in these threads but they just seem to run and run. Whatever floats ones boat really I suppose. Who am I to interfere with someone's "thing"?

Irre: I am very willing to give you a hand getting out of the rut you seem to feel you're in.

I know a lot about the world of EFL and 9 months living and working abroad in a foreign country is a good way to get a change of scene and learn about another part of the world and yourself.
