Or maybe people are encouraging it...so it leads to insults...a bit of Decorum may be called for in these situtions ..I find disagreeing (whether it be Cathtar/Dreadnaught or not )with others leads to the same situation...isn't that one of the reasons this forum was started because on the other one (DIF) a lot of that was taking place...2 faced insulting behaviour...do you not think it wise to rise above pettiness...

Yep, you're quite right, magnetic North is moving at a rate of approximately 40km a year. This is apparently a lot quicker than at other times. Airlines nd ships have already had to have their various compases (electronic ones per se) re-calibrated.

Funnily enough I watched a film called Polar Storm today.....that was about the crustal, not the magnetic shift.
