Putting down deposits for houses that haven't even been built yet and don't even have planning permission yet at prices that are approx 10x the average salary. (thats the ones starting at 230k..)

I can let people off if a house is 30k it makes sense to buy it...but 230k not even built and no planning permission WTF?! lol :)

I wonder if they lose the 5000 quid deposit if they find out to their horror later on the bank won't give em a mortgage?
