I eliminated eating all animals products almost 13 years ago now ... I wish I had always eaten this way. Funnily enough, no protein deficiency.
In fact, you basically have to be starving to have a protein deficiency.
There are many top line athletes that eat a vegetarian/vegan diet, here's a classic example ...
G'day. I love the posts you've done lately. I checked out the Milk one today, very nice. Nice to hear from Carl Lewis, he seems like a nice guy. I would add though, I stay clear of the tofu/soy. My partner drinks Soy Milk to reduce her oestrogen levels, hence there are uses for it but it can effect your system adversely.
I was veggie for 16 years or so, I did eat a little fish for under a year period in that time as I searched for answers. So, I've been without meat now for about 17 years. I'm still alive! Amazing innit?!

Come on in and visit. Perhaps you too are vegetarian, and looking to learn more about building the body. Or perhaps you're interested to see how one can build a competitive physique without meat, without fish, and without anabolic steroids.
Maybe you're skeptical. That's fine too. A healthy skepticism is always welcome, especially when accompanied by an open mind.
Here's what you'll find within this website: Lots of information, including exercise and diet tips, sample menus, published and unpublished articles, links, photos, and feature articles on others who have led the way as vegetarian bodybuilders, like the great Bill Pearl and Roy Hilligen.
