Y'know, once when I was about 12 my friend's little sister came running to me, telling me there were fairies flying around some bush. I went with her and, for a moment, I really thought they were fairies. Then I caught one and it was some kinda bug(or was it? ). I haven't seen these bugs again....who knows? Maybe they disguise themselves as bugs! One can hope...

Why can't I sleep with a quartz crystal near me? I toss and turn and have a bad sleep. Any ideas, anyone?

Haha, had to drop in and post having seen the second picture ^^^ that silverwand posted. That is exactly what I was/am talking about in the faeries thread I started in the paranormal section If you look at the light with the 'shell' around it and ditch the silly winged human bit, that's what I encounter on a daily basis

But crystals can be programmed, if it has yet to be configured to what you are looking for, it could just be putting off whatever it thinks is needed (you're sleepiness, it's working in the opposite and trying to give you the "go" it thinks you may need). Also when I got my mother a quartz crystal to wear and programmed (I know this is the wrong word to be using) to help with her health and energy levels, at night I told her to take it off and wash it (rinse it under water) to get rid of any negativity it may have sucked up and taken out of her and then put it into a pyramid shape container. This re-energized it for the next day and it also contained it. Maybe try putting your crystals inside a container at night.

What you said was good advice about cleansing and programming crystals. I like to bathe mines under sunlight and moonlight, too. I am still learning what I can about them, so any info is helpful.

It's long since been claimed that every crystal has a range of powers/vibrations. Some people just leave the crystal to work as it will on what's needed; but if you buy a crystal because it has a metaphysical property you particularly need, you're meant to charge it to emit that quality to you. It's still said to give you the benefit of its other properties, just more of the one you've charged it to deliver.

And its not just crystals that have certain properties to them... meteors are said to have certain properties that can help, lava stones, and other types of stones can be used in conjunction with massage and so on too.
