What we do today will have a huge effect not just to our children but our childrens children, our Great Grand children will still be feeling the effect of what we the people do to ourselves and then blame it on the elite, a pretty lame excuse if you ask me.

They say that the elite using slick advertising get a hold upon the goodie factor by using sex and media as forms of control to distract the masses, in many ways this is true but to even start to try and escape this rythum we need to stop talking about it and get to grips with the reality of it all.

In the house we have so many talkies but not many walkies, who don the leads and head straight to the river bank for the chat zones and bouncy ball zones of comfort that feed the pleasure zones with only the minds eye and no reality in sight nothing solid to see.

This creates a barrier for the views through into the needed zone and all is lost for the avenues to actually firewalling the distractions and letting the hands that do the dishes only make use of the finger tips but not the whole hand nor eyes outside the square window.

Seeing is also believing in this zone where a picture paints a thousand words, but where are such.windows in the house, there arn't any of course, there was supposed to be a universal thought package involved but instead is all talk and no walk from the wild side into another world that could allow our own hands to help ourselves and in the very process give others a well need rest from their toil of nothingness.

If their is nothing we can do but create a head count and flow towards nothingness then very little let us do, for many years from now they will be saying, forgive them who came before, for the knew not of what they were doing.

Very soon people will be forced into action app.

A nasty prolonged recession would actually be good for the people ironically enough.

Thing is H much of this could be avoided if they started today to seek out the alternatives, yet many are holding onto false promises given to them by most alternative medias including forums where conjecture will reslove nothing. I still se village green and large lawns turfed over when they could be dug into sizable savings instead of playing their well being and sanity away.

Like you say the folks are not yet hungry enough to act, some never will of course
.

It is painful to watch the banter when they could be the planter of their own seeds.

Half the bother is that modern society isn't geared towards planting their grub.

They live in flats, concrete everywhere or council sardine tins with a postage stamp for a back garden.

Should they cure this and get out to the country then they have the initial financial woes and initial planting to do before even getting the first returns. So I can understand this is no easy issue, getting started is the big hurdle, the returns come easy after that.

The problem is a comunative one, today many have been so conditioned to raise their boundry fences and languish in fear of their neighbours. I have a good freind who has a garden where a tight knit community looked out for each other and all give a helping hand to work his land in exchange for food, sunk the 35 foot deep well and fitted two large underground water tanks and keept rabbits and pigeons for meat.

It is all possible if you know how.

Last year as an experiment we grew a total of 15 tomatoe plants in our widows and had an extra supply of toms as well as those in the greenhouse, there are plenty of ways to do a little and many ways to do a lot if we simply communicate with our hands, talking to a computer screen cannot get it done.

Modern society isn,t motivated enought to provide for themselves, getting geared to some degree is easy on some things. And modern society wont move in that direction at the moment. In order for that too happen, they will have to feel some pain first in their lives. And as we all know, pain is a great motivator, but at that stage the best opportunities to learn will be dwindling in the heat of change. Its easy done now though. As the oportunities are there.
Once you tell yourself you cant do this, and you cant do that, because.................you have then started building confines in your head, that you wont break out of. You can grow loads of mushrooms, herbs ect, in a small place. I am lucky to have an acre of ground, and a polytunnel, but my friend who lives in town grew better toms than mine, in a small box room.

Agreed! A lot of pain. That aint the half of it :)

I suppose you can manage tomatoes, perhaps some beans/peas?

I'd have trouble growing enough to 100% feed a family on a balcony though lol.

Well what you need is the garden stick then, maximise both floor area as well as verticle. :chuckle:

I think that the culture is easily changable, it just needs the right ingredients and recipe. Pondering this subject, I think that the following could be valid.

Targeting of the younger generation is the key. Fads and crazes are easily picked up by the children and we have all witnessed the crazes such as skateboarding, Rubics Cubes and things like Harry Potter (recently visited the UK and cycling has taken off). Why not vertical gardeing in schools etc.? What is probably necesssary is something like a Harry Potter of plants and food. Ie a childrens book geared around a race that eat from the land and how they do it. Could be anything really but hopefully someone talented will come along and change things for the better. Sorry if that seems to be a cop out but I do have a lot of ideas, this is my personality. Perhaps those ideas could be furthered by someone more talented in a particular field. But one thing's for sure, it's got to be fun. I would have far prefered to have been planting than in school most of the time........even in my spare time it could have been fun with such technologies.

We all know that the education system is wrong. The most fascinating books that I have read, I have only come across in the last years but should be the basis of schooling and education. Ie Eckhart Tolle to understand the mind a bit more, How To Win Friends and Influence People, concerning human relations. Think and Grow Rich, concerning achieving dreams (not money based at all, as money is the last thing on the most successful person's mind). These things should be taught in school along with dreaming and imagination in friendly environments.

So, onward with the younger generation that are here. Ingredients and a recipe suitable for worldwide mass distribution and wanted, is required. This needs to be done by people who have pure intentions and walk the talk. What I'm saying is that I believe that things can change rapidly with the right mix. It's not about targeting individuals, though that's good, it's about gaining that critical mass. Many people are getting interested in food nowadays but they are still detached from it's source. I think we know that the planned crash will change this outlook very quickly when it happens. Things can change for the better. We're all nutters now but we could be tommorrow's heroes and I want to be a threat to the present day system.

In my eyes, the beginning to a world of balance starts with the children. We still have the all-seeing and spirited child within each of us.Thought I would share this wise quote..

Little children should be allowed to imagine, to let their minds run ahead to things that can be and things that never were. The imagination lets us see beyond the actual outline of things as they are. A mind freed of bias can detect times and times ahead. Go back and recapture the imagination you never allowed to develop. Give it the freedom to examine your motives, your feelings, your heart. It will reveal joys and purposes and realign things gone wrong. There is no drab space in the imagination, no tears, and no losses - for that is the purpose of imagination, to remove and heal and let go.

Westernised so called, civilised society is based on destruction. We have collectively created a pardigm that creates wealth for some, on the basis of a manufactured destruction of both the planet as well as within the manufacturing processes involved. We destroy our environment in order to manufacture something from the destruction. So that companies can create and sell a product , that is in itself destined to be discarded in favour of maintaining the never ending loop of replacing that very product, with a newer version. We have participated in living in a throw away society, where creating and fixing and developing for ourselves ,is frowned upon, discouraged, and even regulated against. Children are the new seedlings in the garden of life, that need to be fed and nurtured, for their best intentions and outcomes, above corporate or business needs. And we need to take whatever painful steps as adults now, in order for them to be the positive energy of change for the future.

Here is a subject that I have touched on many times before, term and verse, "Walking upon Childerick".

A plant does indeed reach down for moisture but the nourishing area is just below the surface down to about three inches, about the same in years that it takes for them to become aware before potting them on.
This is why they are ever keen to get them started on the indoctrination. As a parent and now a grandfather as a leader of my pride the schools never got a look in when it came to my offsprings education, I retrained them how I saw fit, here we can and did do things differently and the result is two well educated people in stable relationships.

Yet we still walk in shoes made in childrens eyes when they should be being children, only the adults can change this, if we continue on our present path our will become the slaves to the rhythm we are in constant reasolution upon.

Sharing of the skills of self is what we wre still allowed to do outside school but in order of doing this we must all respect all childreick not just the well being of our own otherwise we may win a few battles of mind but loose the war of minds and for what.

Very little is what we are doing when we take steps on shoes made in childrens eyes, willful blindness does not collate and life will never be lived until we cease walking upon childerick.

Knowledge destroys ignorance, empowers the individual,

How could a mother raise their child then let a stranger take them away to die for this stranger, a stranger we taught them never to speak to if confronted, turn out shortly after their birth to register their soul with a devil in disguise, this is what we are doing, like it or not, the women could unite themselves against this model and bar Tom, Dick or Harry from stealing their soul.

From the six month break I had away from the electronic reality, a common theme was established here and many other places, the history of what the wholes reactions was doing was entire. However there is still lacking the alternatives of an individual coming to thefore that has made roads into the age old problems of what could be done.

I will see everybody in six months from now to see what has come of the community.

All the best.

Passive acceptance of the current system, and with no will to change it. Effectively adding to its ability to steal our most valuable asset, our labour. And thereby enforcing it, and virtually ensuring that future generations will also be captive to its energy.
And the history of what the whole were doing. Same as always.........................................nothing.

Good post app.
