Not sure if the title should be worst or worse...anyhoo...

Out of WW2 came stories of horror etc...but in your opinion who had the worst record in regards to treatment of people under their "control" before during or after the war..their treatment of prisoners of war and people they imprisoned in general either during or after the war.

The Western Allies ( being USA, England [including ANZAC])
The Germans
The Russians
The Japanese

you can still smple uk pow camps at locations across the united kingdom
their abbility to survive so long is testament to how popular they were id say .

If you every come across a book titled " In Their Darkest Hour " by Laurence Rees buy it, it tells the stories of the people from all those countries you've named and what they did to other's.

To answer the OP it's really hard to pick because of it basically a individual thing, if I was to choose it would be the Nazi Germans for they targeted not just solider's but people where ever they went. It was not only Jews but Russians, homosexual, gypsies and intellectuals. The Japanese were pretty brutal, so they'd be second. Then the Russian's the the Allies.
