What do you think about this? :goodbad:

Depends...

I was a pen-pal to a bloke, well a bit more than that, I met him when he was on the run, my junkie room-mate said he had just got out of the army and so he was staying in my flat!
I fell for him BIG time so when he was caught I decided to write. I got well and truly soft-soaped and ended up smuggling smoke and brewers yeast (don't ask me how, LMAO) into prison for him. He used me as a ticket out of there, he even had the governer of Parkhurst say how good he had been!! I was supposed to be helping him straighten his life out. Then when he came out on parole he changed, no 'lovey-dovey' stuff... It was ALL bullshit! He practically raped me in the guest house I had sorted out for us. He had me carrying round half a kilo of speed (I helped myself to some though and he got the blame) He confessed to me it was all bullshit and he had tears pouring down his face when he told me, I wanted to end my life.

I would say that your friend needs to get a bloody grip and leave well alone but I would also say.. It was one of lifes lessons, would I do it again? Yes of course. we ended up as friends several years later and I sat beside his bed while he lay in a coma, just before he died. :broken:

Darn that is a rough story, glad you made it through in one piece.
I don't know the guy real well,he asked questions about what it would take to get a computer and visit prison women, and I told him just get a connect going, and find the site the women he is corresponding with are on.

His present girlfriend is nice he said and takes care of him, but he told she weighs about 270 pounds and about 5.5 height, drinks like a fish, and sleeps all day,but she loves him and calls him her stud muffin.
.He just opened up and told me, and I kept a straight face the whole time.

I really don't understand what it is with people these days.. Staying with someone they don't love until someone better comes along.... I think they need to be alone for a couple of years to find themselves.
Then they won't be bothered about finding anyone!!! :yeahno:

I wouldn't write to an incarcerated women. Typically people end up in jail because they've lead a hard life at some point. By the sound of it, this man interested in love doesn't exactly live comfortably. That suits some people. Others just want more. Some will break laws, hearts, and bones to get what they want. Not everyone in jail is ruthless, but they aren't exactly there for no reason most of the time. I don't think it's really a good idea on his part.

I don't know how large the community is that he lives in. He could try getting involved more in local social events, things he's interested in. He'd be more likely to find a compatible partner there, and not have to worry about waking up duct taped to the bed, his valuables missing, and the truck gone.
Form is merely a momentary manifestation of being, not a fixed reality.

History doesn't repeat itself, uninformed people repeat history.

To all progressive endeavors great or small, come unforeseen benefits on a scale larger than most give pause or contemplation of.

The guy is in his early fifties, and used to be a bit of a player with the ladies around town, and he has had sexual escapades with many local girls, and lived with a few.
The girl he's with now in my opinion is just a meal ticket to him.

When he was younger he could pick up the wild women after leaving the country western bars, but it's a younger scene now,and if your a older dude looking for a woman you need money, and they expect a sugar daddy, not a broke old man.

What goes on in anybody head, who knows, but I think he is trying to keep the young wild side live style going, and wants younger good looking women, who may have low self esteem and are desperate,it's the classic predatory way for a dude of this type.
