Says that last Tuesday was Loyalty Day, the day of reaffirmation of loyalty to the U.S.
I didn't know there was a Loyalty Day. Mail still ran and banks were open.

That reminds me of when my dad let me drive his brown '77 Ford Thunderbird from McGregor to South Mountain when I was just 8 years old! I thought Life could never get any better than that!! I've always loved the drive from Waco to Gatesville, sure is a lot of nice scenery out that way! Not to mention on out to Brownwood and Ballinger way, down to San Saba and Brady!! Which also reminds me, I really need to get to Paint Rock next time I'm back on Texas dirt!!
I started driving in the city when I was about 6 years, when I could reach the pedals in the Toyota.
I'm only just now able to get online again.
I was not sure if my router was zapped or if the provider was down, for some reason I felt the provider was down.
At any rate, I'm back!
And as I said to my now ex-husband AND his girlfriend, after driving through a a high end Cat 2 with hail in 2004, "Sorry babe, I made it home alive".

(and also evil grin of vicious victory emo)
Edit: Sorry, I forgot to tell one and all that there was a storm here this evening on my side of the monitor. I tried watching a Jet Li movie but couldn't enjoy for being so pissed off! I couldn't even delight in the fools trying to fight jet, pfft!
