One of my 'To Do' items is see a Kingfisher in nature. I used to be mesmerised by a pic of one in my old Viewfinder swooping into the water.

I saw one of them today too!! They are pretty majestic when in flight, but kind of resemble and old skettie, hobbling about in slippers when they're not.

More common than woodpeckers, I know, but the last few times I've sneaked out of work for a crafty smoke, I've seen a little, fragile robin redbreast near the cig hovel. So today, I threw it some bits of my lunch butty, and it ate them. :)

No - but then I'm fancying one of them funky VW campers that I wouldn't have owned if they were free when I was young, so I'm no judge really.

It was a grated cheese & coleslaw butty, and my little bright-eyed friend seemed to enjoy it.

Almost a nice sarnie, but want one them old VW's too. But they are impractical, slow, noisy ,unreliable, and smelly (a bit like myself)
