On my mind right now is my lovely little grandson. As I look into his beautiful face, as he asks me.."Is it my turn to use the computer now"...bless....The love I feel for him is so powerful, that I know nothing will ever be too much for me to do for him. :beat: :beat: :heartb:

Several things are on mind. Helping with the physical recovery of a close loved one to the best of my ability, helping two people maintain an addiction free lifestyle to the best of my ability, helping a friend regain clarity and it's subsequent intellectual and spiritual upliftment to the best of my ability, the feeling of a rapidly developing crescendo in relation to the collective consciousness this summer, a realization that one can only resist the currents of destiny for so long, and pie.
Form is merely a momentary manifestation of being, not a fixed reality.

History doesn't repeat itself, uninformed people repeat history.

To all progressive endeavors great or small, come unforeseen benefits on a scale larger than most give pause or contemplation of.

Grandson?! There is no way, lady, you are so youthful appearing!
And a grandson who has the command of cognizant thought and speech? Gimme a break. You are so youthful and pretty; most grandmas can be youthful and pretty but you DO NOT look your age!

My Brother, you ARE NOT ALONE!

I've been there for years and done that as well.

Just remember to care for yourself?

Selfish?

No! You can take of those folks if you are not there?

And, as a fellow caretaker, I ask: What if you were not there? Yes, I dare ask this. Are you certain you are not being taken advantage of, and actually being an enabler?

I mean all respect to you, sir, but I ask these sincere questions from experience.

Sometimes, people like me (as an example), get taken advantage of because we have so much quiet strength and patience, that we are taken advantage of, while other, boisterous, or assertive, discerning personalities are not dared approached.

There are those who truly require our care, though. :)

Just saying.

Indeed, coco! Perhaps Pheony will share her secret with us!

I have a step-grandson (who has his first birthday next week!), and another on the way! I can't have children of my own and thanks to my health problems I never thought I'd have a family so I'm so thankful for this blessing! :) (Sorry if that sounds soppy, folks!)

I am stunned by my new glasses! I never realised how hard I was struggling to read with my old ones! They'll take a bit of getting used to, though, as they're varifocals and feel a bit strange at the mo!

Such lovely thoughts on here. Nice thread :)

Me, I'm just concentrating on getting back to healthy after a small op last week (albeit a painful one). That's why I haven't been around lately. Anyway, I'm enjoying the time off work so that I can post on the interweb all day long (well after I get the housework done...grrr) :D :chuckle:

Thank you for looking out, I appreciate that. I do take time for myself. For the most part I'm a mellow guy, but I can be assertive when I need to be. :)
