She went from being alright(ish) to asleep in the taxi to a complete cabbage. She paid for it today though!
I cycled across town one night absolutely smashed & was all over the place & fell off quite badly a couple of times ruining my face.
Then when I got back I blamed the ex!

Went to see Steve Hughes last night, and despite him being full of the cold, he was excellent.

We even got to meet him after the show, cool guy.

Check out the rest of his tour dates folks, I'd strongly recommend seeing him :D

The guy's a modern day Bill Hicks for me, afraid to touch nowt but does it with a bit more subtlety so the audience don't even know what they've just learned half the time. :chuckle:

We went and collected Beardy Bob earlier. he's a big boy! We think the people we re-homed him from told a fairly big porky about his age, he's full grown ;) Gonna have to get to making a bigger home for him tomorrow. lucky no work :) I'll stick a pic of him up when ms knob is done on her lappy.

EDIT: Lappy now in me grubby mitts.
Hi folks, My name is Beardy Bob Marley and I've just landed in me new home with what appear to be........um.....pikeys :umm:

Hang on....It's another fucking beardy......oh wait no....it's my reflection innit.
2013 10 10222130 Zpsc8b8e6b3

He's been here about 3 hours now and has had a run about the van, a cuddle or three and is currently basking like in the first pic. He's well chilled as you'd imagine, given his name. I haven't put in the papers for the name change to the Reptile leaders of the Moon Matrix yet but Beardy Bob said and I quote, "Fuck dem....Papez ma ringpeace....We nah send dem papez cuz deh is badman tool fah mek de Icke dollah."

The folk we got him from said he wouldn't touch locusts, was in a bad mood and off food. Within 10 minutes of being here he'd necked 6 full grown ones....

It would be legitimate to question the moral fortitude of playing Grand Theft Auto in the first place, of course.

But when you're playing Grand Theft Auto online and you can hear through other people's headsets that they've got young children and even babies with them while they're playing, and close enough for you to be able to hear what they're saying, it is quite alarming.

Beardys have a mixed diet of insects and veggy matter. Apparently each one can develop 'tastes' but we're talking meal worms, crickets, locusts and the folk we got him from fed him beetles. They'll eat a mixture of greens, apparently dandelions are good...not lettuce though.
Ms knob has to look after the reptiles here so she's fairly clued up already. As are a few of the other local pikeys :D
We noticed his skin is a bit saggy atm which is apparently a sign of dehydration. They get most of their water from their food so it makes sense if he hasn't eaten for a bit. They don't really go for standing water too much so I've been dipping my finger in his bowl and then dabbing it on his nose. After a short while he started to lick it and he's necked a fair bit now. I'll do it again after the next spliff. In the morning we're off to the unspeakable place. There's a Pets At Home (inc) there where we can get Locusts. As he's necked so many tonight I'm gonna get more of those in the morning and just keep feeding him as many as he'll eat for a bit. Locusts are a biiiiiggg juicy meal. They have the other insects too so I may get some crickets but probably not. I can get a few crickets here so I'll just see if he like them first.
Hopefully he'll fill back out over the next couple of days once he's eaten well and got his fluids back up.

EDit: Btw the kitten (don't let him hear me call him a kitten, he thinks he is a growed up ;) ) thinks he's fuckin ace :D They were playing pat a cake through the glass just now :killinme: :psketti:

:umm: You said the word man ffs!!! :shitstorm: :suicide:

Yeah, they eat their insects live. Most folk just release them in the viv. Beardy Bob was taking them right out of our hands earlier.
I aint exactly comfortable with it tbh. It's not the handling or doing it but It's a bit um Locust unfriendly innit. I am working it through in my conscience as I type...
I think the cat would get fucked tbh :D Beardys can and do, tail whip and Bob's tail is long, thick and strong...
