Beardy Bob is in his new home
Making it was a bit of a rush job and it isn't 'finished' yet but he now has space and things to explore. We got him in late yesterday afternoon and bless him, it was too cold. It hadn't had a chance to warm up properly and the lamp from his first home wasn't powerful enough. It panicked us a bit as he immediately went dark and lethargic. Even started to show signs of brumating .
This morning I made a roof extension and we went and got a big heat lamp and reflector to go in it. The temp in his hot spot is now showing just about 100F and his cool spot is about 85F, round about ideal. I also got him a bigger night lamp.

He is perking up, he's spent nearly all afternoon basking and he's lightening He's had a fair bit to drink but aint eaten today. I'm hoping that after a good kip tonight and on waking up tomorrow in a sorted home, he'll get his appetite back.
It's all been a bit of a stress for me up till now cos I just want to do right by him and so far, he hasn't had exactly ideal conditions. Hopefully now though, he'll start settling in a bit more. Then I can stop posting the contents of my mind in this yer thread
