I dont need to research its history to realise sharia law has many evil aspects to it. Same reason i dont need to research nazi germany to realise Hitler was an evil man.

without meaning to come across as a pedantic arse (which I can be on many occasion) How can you possibly state you are anti sharia law if you do not know all there is to know about sharia law? A more accurate statement would be to say you are against certain applications of sharia law. Unless ofc you can find nothing in sharia law with which you agree - but to do that you would need to study sharia law - see what I am saying?

It is perfectly normal to find aspects of other cultures uncomfortable of 'wrong' when measured against ones own culture or moral standpoint - but to look at one facet of it only and declare oneself 'anti' it would be like watching jersey girl and declaring all kevin smith films shit based on one film alone.....

I am no fan of hitler or the nazis but credit where its due - their propaganda machine was astonishing - the man had charisma and their uniforms pissed over ours if you like that whole 'nazi' look.

That doesnt make hitler or the nazi regime a just one - it merely means that one can appreciate an aspect without glorifying the whole.

Very little in the world is black and white - seeing the shades between helps with understanding and creating a bigger picture.
Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.

I can speak with some authority on this point, having kept sheep and living in an area where they probably outnumber humans 50:1.

They really don't do that. You do tend to find the odd headstrong one in a flock that will find a way out and the others seem to be inspired by that and having been shown the way they'll make their break for freedom too. Sheep like to be together. Never seen any sign of what you said there though.

Racism to me is fear and ignorance, because you have took your view of looking at a individual and determining their worth, and replaced it with a group mentality of close minded ignorance and fear.

Which is a very destructive path.

:approved: I could never get personal with you because i do not know you. Im just reacting to the reflection of my interpretation of you, which is not really you, only my own subjective image of how you are.
