It may have been mentioned already but I got a kick out of Flint Island,and liked the dude,and really my self personally didn't think he was fake,and that he was asking real questions about socializing in clubs and things about the ladies at these clubs he wondered about.

And plus the reactions he got to his questions by a few people seemed very vindictive and hateful and I didn't understand that, or why some reacted against him so badly.
They seemed to me interesting and fun as a topic and the threads he started and I wish the dude was here asking them,I believe he would be much more accepted here on this forum

Poor ol' Flint. He was like a stand up comedian.

A truly tortured soul, in his case, perhaps unwittingly making folly of himself for the entertainment of others subconsciously to gain some sort of sympathy or acceptance. At least that's how I took him as he projected himself.

If he was really serious about his posts, I hope he learns to hold a mirror to himself and, through time and trial, learns to straighten himself out. He's the only one who can do that. A counselor can help guide since I suspect he lives in Europe and gets free health care.

I was curious about Mountain when I first joined DIF. She had a way of laying down observations in a way that anyone could understand, which is a sign of understanding a concept on a deep knowledgeable level. She gave me some things to think about from angles that I had not considered at the time (and still does). I'm glad she and I have gotten to know one another since then.

The Phemster had my curiosity as well. He had (still does) a great sense of humor. In between the humor he liked to drop bits of wisdom and knowledge which seemed to slip by some others. I liked reading his posts and picking up on the little Easter eggs. "I see what you did there... " I'm glad I was able to get to know him, he's a great guy.

There seems to be a substantial flint fanbase here. I didn't really understand the appeal myself. He seemed like he was trying too hard to be a character.

I moved here solely for economic gain and yearn for unexpected showers in the 'summer' months.

I was on a Greek island without family for 4 days, just me n mrs oioioi, on one of the poshest islands in Greece on a friends freebie (family from there) and have spent the last 3 weeks (give or take, not sure) at the 'summer house' which is not as grand as it sounds, in fact it's charm is it's humbleness and if it were in anyway viable I'd move there in a flash. Barrel of wine in the shed, enough land for me to grow all our fruit n veg needs, log fires, books and weed in the winter... *sighs*

There's plenty I'd like to meet, the one that always intrigued me in a "what they really like?" kinda way was probably griffinman. Doesn't mean I'd do owt to ease my curiousity, I wouldn't shit on him if he were on fire and I needed a roasted shit urgently.

I'd be be up for meeting zeph though
