I'm just curious about the people here, do you have strong family root's in the area you live in now, and for the most part have been there all your life, or have you been a traveler, on your own, or with a family move?

For me there was a major move when I was a small child, my father got offered a job about a thousand miles from my town of birth, and we loaded up and left, never to return there to live, but I have been back to that city several times for various reasons, I was to young to have missed anything dramatic about it when I left, maybe just a few childhood memories.

Other than that, I have been relatively close to the area I'm in now, and haven't had any other major moves.
How about you?

I've always been a bit of a nomad myself.
I've moved house about 29 times in my lifetime so far.
About 8 of those times have been with my own family and 3 moves in Ireland itself in 5 years.

I've moved around quite a bit in the past, went away, came back about 4 times.
I would like to move on at some point in the next year or two.
That island in the plastic bottle video looks quite tempting...I can dream I suppose.

born and raised down south now in the south west via a stint living in london and working in america - my family has strong roots to the south west so its full circle really for me :)

I have no roots here in Georgia at all. I spent the first 30 years of my life in Gravesend in Kent then the last six years in ga. I hope to move somewhere else too since there is not much keeping me here.

I don't like the people, for a start.

Actually...it'd be all right here if not for them.

I've always lived in the Bristol area, near my family, apart from a brief sojourn at Leeds Uni! I've lived in quite a few places though - this is my 5th house in this particular part of Bristol! The first one was 1969-1976, the second one was 1979-1981, the third one was 1982-1998, the fourth, 1998-2004, and the 5th one is 2004 to the present day!

Born in LIverpool, spend my whole life here apart from a period of living in Japan for three months...(where the fuck did that guy go? I got shit done in those days)

Liverpool...it's home, but also a prison...just because I'm comfortable here doesn't mean I like it...doesn't mean I dislike it either...it's meh, that's what it is.
