I do however think that Tommy Sheridon and George Galloway were bad for going on holiday to Cuba

It is kind of inevitable Dubs :)

Its actually a strong argument against any 'collective' kind of reasoning because we will always be individuals and we will always have differing opinions etc because we have all had different experiences and therefore outlooks on life etc.

Its very hard to find people who agree on important stuff like this, but they can agree on simple irrelevant stuff...mostly :)

This was the very argument HJ used ultimately iirc? :p

I've read a fair bit of both, certainly far more of marxism because I used to like it.
Then I discovered anarchism and saw it was all bullshit basically :)

Have to say andy, i'm increasingly convinced that opting to strip life right back, move down here and disassociate....was the right thing for me to do. Thatcher was right. Kotg was right. Look after yourself and your family. We're going to hell in a handbasket and we aint offering any resistance. Sometimes i bloody despair...

Fuck it, I'm disgracefully barging my way back in...

Theoretically I believe exchange is the problem. The only way any form of currency could work is with a complete change of mindset regarding money. If we're gonna bother having a complete change of mindset can we not also base it on a complete changing of how we engage with one another and value each others contribution to society?

I wouldn't say thatcher and kotg were right because they didn't actually say look after yourself, lol :)

I know what you're getting at though and yes there's little that you can practically do beyond sorting yourself out but then again its always been that way.
The more educated and intelligent you are the more hopeless it looks tbh :D

I might be anti-religious but I'm not anti-spiritual. I'm ludicrously pro-spiritual for sure. Mikey would attest to that,

Yawn fucking yawn gue.

@oi. I agree entirely about it all working together. The way we interact is fucked up. Imo, this thread has become a case in point. The thread started as an experiment in trying a new way of interacting with an aim to pooling resources, namely our ideas. I'm trying to stimulate the very thing you're talking about in the safe environment of an internet forum. And it aint happening is it.

What specifically did you read andyh?

Communist manifesto comes to mind, also some stuff by trostky.
Later I read orwell, bakunin and then proudhon.
Then ofc I noticed Huxley and then Icke and Jones and all the usual claptrap and then I read wub, dub and oi :D
