Whats the point of letting people you don't know & will never be part of your life piss you off. I don't let people change me when i'm out, I'm a happy person, and quite chatty but quiet, i stay that way when i'm out. Why should i have a problem with other people existing, i sort of exist too.
I'll be the first one to admit that I have anger issues, but I
do go out of my way to extend friendly, polite and courteous respect to my fellow man/woman out in the world and it just doesn't sit well with me when other people can't, won't and don't even make the attempt to reciprocate. And I don't mean people lining up to suck my dick for holding a door open or moving aside for someone to pass in an area of close quarters. Just an acknowledgement of thanks, a nod of the head or a smile. None of that shit costs a GOT damn thang last I checked!! But so many people just seem to be without the vaguest idea of how to interact in public with ANY kind of manners, it just burns me up most of the time. I know I shouldn't let it, but it does. More work on me, I suppose.
I don't ever go out of my way to courteous, polite, friendly or respectful, I don't even see people as my fellow man/woman, so maybe this helps me stay me. I totally agree where the fook is basic manners, This was a lydon quote that i found many many years ago, and repeated it probably to often to my kids: "Manners cost nothing and make every-one happy"

I had to go into the city the other week, and I hated it. I hate it more every time I go there. It's total, blanket corporate culture everywhere you look, it's completely dehumanising, common courtesy and manners have gone out of the window completely, constant traffic, noise, dirt and pollution, you can't walk five yards without someone trying to sell you something you don't need, at least 75% of people are glued, fucking glued, to mobile phones, even when they're walking down the street. I couldn't wait to get out of the place.
Yeah i refuse to move back to that kinda shit. live pretty rural now and have done for quite a few years. I bet phemohilia wouldn't get stressed shopping where i live
