When people are first allowed to buy legal firearms these people will most likely be having a stable life style and have a positive outlook to life but things can change so easily in life.

thomas hamilton held guns legally and killed sixteen children and one adult.

derrick bird held a gun license and killed 12 people and injured 11.

james eagan holmes bought guns legally and killed killing 12 people and injuring 59.

adam peter lanza used legally held firearms he killed 28 and injured 2.

etc,etc.

Mental health issues,depression and many many other unforeseen negative issues in life happen,that's a fact!

The percentages of other gun owners who legally have access to firearms and who suffer some unforeseen issues that change their outlook to life are very high,job losses,deaths of loved ones,etc.

not forgetting Anders Behring Breivik of course who had legal firearms.

The biggest issue, this society creates dickheads and then allows them firearms.
