That negativity creeps like fucking ivy and engulfs you. You have to fight to consciously prevent yourself from being ensnared and dragged down by the weight of it all. I lost that fight for a couple of years.
It's easy to lose perspective and forget that the world is also full of fun, colour, inspiration and love.

That is why I now make sure I post so much fun and fluff, we need it or none of the rest is worth fighting for.
Step back, reassess, understand that balance is paramount.

I can't imagine what type of poster I seem like to some of the more intellectual here

Idk, as you all know, I take forum breaks. It's usually when I feel down and realise I am being all wingey. That's usually a good indication that you need to get out more. :) Spending too long at a screen isn't good for you, I read something about it fucking with blood sugar levels and it sounded pretty credible. Anyway, balance is good.

iBaster has always seemed like a decent sort to me. I don't know you very well, but it sounds as though an internet break would be good for you.

Also, what feather said. Tbh there are some clever intellectual bods here on SZ and I sometimes think about posting something that is intelligent and often decide that it probably isn't. This is a lovely forum and apart from the odd troll, you are all decent people. :) :helios:

Nope (yes, arguing again :P ). I'm not assuming you're being manipulated - just that you see it differently from me, because I judge the tactics I've seen as being an attempt to manipulate, but you don't - hence agreeing that it boils down to different views. :)
