and yeah it is the 'proper' Chat. FC Chat stands for fast cat chat. The chat menu has been simplified recently, thats why its a bit different.

because the chat window is sizeable now we didnt need the desktop chat/notebook chat/popup chat options... the one does the same job now.

so its just called chat center on the menu.

so on the menu its Live Chat > FC Chat Centre > Chat center.

it is the 'proper' chat that we had before.

but yeah it wont connect anyone till its renewed.

gonna have to use blast for now.

Thing is, to accept payment, Fast Cat chat require a paypal account that's linked with a debit card to a bank account - the SZ one isn't - so I am going to have to use my personal paypal account.

Not a problem in itself (the money certainly isn't, just a couple of quid)...however the debit card that's linked to my paypal account recently expired and paypal for some reason automatically disabled it - even though the bank account itself is still linked to the paypal account on a direct debit basis. the arsewits.

So I have to re-link to paypal with either the replacement card or a completely different one before Fast Cat will accept a payment from it.

I didn't realise what was going on there, I thought it was perhaps me and my linux not having the latest flash version
