I've got a ten year old lad, so have this to look forward to in a few years. I'd be inclined to set up a firewall so that everything he accesses is logged. You don't necessarily have to block the sites, but if you can show him that you know what sites he has visited, he may be more likely to avoid the dodgier ones..

Quite ironic really, the 14 year old boy would be interested in 14 year old girls, yet if he visited those sort of sites, Mr Pumpshaft might get a knock on the door from old bill.. But as far as I can see, most mainstream porn sites are fairly self regulating (and there are so many of them), so the really obscene stuff isn't that easy to find with a normal google search.

If he starts trying to install TOR to access Deep/darknet, then you might need to worry a bit more..

And I suspect, by design.

If I'd have had the internet at that age, a lot of the mystery or 'naughtiness' surrounding porn wouldn't have existed since it would be simply readily available. As it was, I had to rely on the odd porn mag that would float around school & keep it well hidden. Occasionally somebody would come back from abroad & have a really dirty porn mag... which was viewed as being more exciting. (by me, at least!)

My old man never kept any porn lying about, though I did find a really old semi-porn in this weird old case in the shed one day. The most erotic thing in the mag was a well rounded pale looking woman riding a horse naked & she had a really hairy black bush. But as that's all there was, it served as the source of many wanks.
