Being able to pickup energies off an item is called psychometry.
I had a client who was an antiques dealer. She had a beautiful Victorian peridot ring that people would pick up but just wouldn't buy.
She brought it to me to have a 'feely'. Anyways, the ring was given with a lot of love and the recipient had a lot of her love in it. Hence the reason why it wouldn't sell.....too much love!
So, I 'cleansed' it with some Juniper oil. I was really chuffed when within the week my client phoned to say the ring had sold!
So you see, not all things have 'negative' energies attached to them.

Yup....it did, so no one felt they had the right to have it.
It was gorgeous and it's one of my fav stones, if I had the money at the time I would have bought it.

Yes, I suppose it's just getting rid of someone else's imprint so that the object can be yours.

Being a horder collector, seller and just plain lover of all things old, I'm surrounded by other peoples stuff all day every day. Where that leaves me in regards to this thread is debatable
