I am sure you know that it is all political. If somebody does not "like" you then no matter how much they agree with you they will be less likely to "thank you". Some people get the "thank you"`s mostly by being not the other person. Then of course there are times when users are all thank you`d out or just get so into reading a topic that they neglect to say "thank you".

I thank people for many different reasons - usually either for effort, i agree, i appreciate or because it was interesting. I like the feature as it has removed the need people feel to copy and paste large posts and then just add +1 or +100000000000 at the bottom which was a personal irritation elsewhere.
Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.

I just noticed Feathers thank you's almost match his number of posts! :eek2:

I would suggest that Feather carefully considers his posts before thumping the keyboards...most of the time :emb:
