Very poor form to snip a quote out of context, would expect nothing better from you though.

Wasn't it yourself who quoted neocons as being american communist intellectuals some time back? :D

ffs lol :p
I think we ended up agreeing didn't we that Brian Gerrish is a Neo Con?

Depends on your definition of the word.
You unfortunately have some epic differences of opinion when it comes to certain word definitions.

To me neocon means a crazy religious right wing yank freak who wants to turn the middle east into some kind of giant glass crater in a quasi religious nuclear armaggedon and then go on to dominate the planet and indoctrinate everyone, perhaps even publicly execute anyone who isn't some kind of xtian fundie freak show in mass witch drownings or wicker man torchings.

Yeah whereas my view is fluid, Neo now is obviously not still Neo of 10 or fifteen years ago right? Maybe Gerrish is a Neo-neocon?

He's definitely a conservative though.

The key part of the definition is that it involves right wing xtian AMERICANS, so I'm quite right to say you have some daft definitions going on and use some daft words to deliberately troll.

Gerrish is your typical BNP type, simple as. And that type is as old as the hills, they read the daily mail.

^ See my previous post above Mike.

Manchester is where it all started, all of it. The industrial revolution was born here, and this city led the way. For everything, including your political ideals... ;)

err no It started in New Lanark Scotland........I know this for a fact because my history teacher told me so.

We went there on a history trip to see the looms or weaving thing (still not sure what they did in New Lanark)..........we accidental comineered some garden knomes and were made made to post them back with a note of apology

My history teacher was a really good guy , he had caberet and clockwork orange as 'educational films' he let/made/showed us

Also when I missed my history prelim because my dad had died the night before , I went in to explain why I wan't there and he said 'Oh shit your dad died was it serious'.......I know thats not at all funny but it made me laugh at the time , he was one of the good teachers , learnt loads of off him

There's probably an amusing joke about me 'being up at the crack of dawn this morning' to be had somewhere too, but I've not thought of it yet... :coffee:
