To be fair here we could ask the same of Muslims, especially the rich ones and what they have done to Mecca etc
If we take away the "not calling God Jehovah/Yahweh", and ask the question about Christians being ignorant and disrespectful to God. Lets look at the ways some professing Christians are. It comes down to basic ignorance of the faith, Basically God calls people of all shapes and sizes, rich and poor. But through a process called sanctification, people are essentially on an upward slope of righteousness instigated by God himself via the Holy Spirit.. You start out at one point, and gradually ascend to another. Saved from beginning to end.
So lets say one guy hears the gospel and becomes saved, he's a drug addict, hates everyone around him, is quite suicidal. By the end of his life, he 'should' have a deep love of humanity within him, respect and reverence for God, and a boldness of faith, and a willingness to be killed for his faith, and a deep relationship with Christ. Obviously thats in a perfect world where theres zero obstacles in the way.
I don't personally know if Islam has a similar system, based on how they are saved (you never know until the day you stand before him whether or not you're saved, and its essentially based on Allah's whim, and works) I doubt it, but I think if I was muslim, I wouldn't really bother, it just doesn't seem like a system of faith that has anything good to offer, I mean Christianity says "God's righteousness saves you through faith in Christ, once you are saved you cannot lose your salvation", Islam says "Allah Akbhar, blow yourself up and kill infidels and you are assured a place in paradise, other than that you're on your own".
Scary frankly.
