It's something i intimated in another thread.

Not for one second would I consider a Clinton victory to be a positive thing. But it will just be funnier than if Trump wins. Well, it will be funny until she starts attempting to escalate the situation with Russia.

Let's for argument's sake say Trump wins. Trump who has spoke of how Putin isn't the boogeyman he's painted to be.
Let's say he then expresses a desire to back off this new cold war.
What would happen?

I don't believe it is possible for a United States president to go against the general elitist agenda in any significant way. You fall into line. Or you get buried.

I mean, think about it logically. There's all of the trillion-dollar interests, and all of the network they've built up over decades that want one thing. All of the CFR and TLC and Bilderberg and RIIA connections. And then all of the G8, G20, Davos, United Nations, etc. And then all of the organisations like the World Bank, BFIS, IMF, etc. And then there are the big investment banks, like JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs. And then there are the big retail banks like Bank of America and HSBC. And then there's all of the massive corporations, the oil industry, the military-industrial complex. And then there are all of the existing political structures and hierarchy within the globalised system. And then there are similar structures within the United States. And then there's the media which is owned by this super-structure to tell people what to think.

But one fat bloke is going to come along and defy that, and they're all just going to roll over and say "well, we've had a good run, lads, but the racket's over now".

Don't think so.

I agree, its extremely difficult for me to see it any other way.

Short of a mass revolt by the populace (and i dont see that happening either) i cant see anything changing... and one person certainly isnt going to come along and get in the way of all of the aforementioned, he/she would have everything to lose and nothing to gain, so they would have to play ball or not even be there in the running, or die... usually its just play ball.

In theory the only way i could see someone like Trump (or anyone) being true opposition is if there is a strong enough group of very wealthy people who oppose what other very wealthy people have on their agenda.. again i dont feel that this is the case with trump vs shillary.... it perhaps just seems like it in some ways because theyve had to up the dog and pony show this time.

Its really getting boring, itsn't it? I said it some days ago that I could bet on this being just like yesterday... After the selection hype wears down, soon it will be just business as usual. And Trump is a business man. I doubt he would try to do anything significant enough to end up like JFK. That's pretty much what happens if one guy tries long enough to go against the tide. One man is easy to sweep out of the way. It takes way more than one to change things.

I hear lot of people running around like headless chickens shouting all sorts of doom and gloom how maniac Trump will make world burn in hell.... I doubt he matters that much as the real power is behind and above him.

Aren't they going to try to overthrow him with a sort of Brexit-esque re-vote? Brexit and Trump - teaching the people on both sides of the Pond that the pretence of Democracy is DEAD! (Like it's news).
