He ran away and was later found chowing down at the homeless shelter.........

This was disturbing for me. It wasn't the fact that the man was either strung out on drugs, having a mental breakdown, concerned for his physical safety, or concerned for the physical safety of the officers involved. It was the fact that people were just standing there making light of a situation like that, and recording it like it was some nonchalant every-day thing. What the hell is wrong with some people?

I don't know what's wrong with people, but it's as if everything has become virtual reality. Maybe it is a way of protection for some, to not feel because they can't handle the reality and probably because they think it doesn't effect them, never could and never will.

Ya know what else is strange? This is the 3rd time in as many months that a naked Indiana man has been in the news.

April 25, 2012 - A 28-year-old Indiana man who stripped off his clothes and ran naked across Interstate 29 has died after being struck by a Sioux Falls motorist.

Brookings Police Department and the Brooking County Sheriff’s Office are assisting the Highway Patrol with the investigation. Childers died near an overpass at mile marker 132 near Brookings.

The TV station reports that Childers had been living beneath the overpass.

May 11, 2012 - A man who police said was firing a gun in a neighborhood north of the Indiana University campus while in the nude was injured in a police-action shooting Friday morning.

Officers with the Bloomington Police Department were dispatched to a home located in the 300 block of E. 15th Street at approximately 6:53 a.m. on a report of a naked man firing a gun.

The guy was pumped for sure,and the cops made a mistake in not taking his legs out from under him,he could have seriously injured someone,the cops supervisor should ask them what the hell do you think your baton is for.

IMO - This all kinda started with that Kony 2012 bloke flipping out… I suspected TPTB had some kind of fry your brain type weapon that causes madness of the ‘strip naked and go loopy’ variety…

I dunno.. maybe its just more mental people… but my gut feeling is that there is an underlying thread linking these incidents.
