I wonder what the list consists of. I was thinking if it is 116 pages it must be pretty darn restricting.

It only needs to be a few lines, something like this:

You must have no interactions with anyone in positions of authority, politicians, police, schools, landlords, army,navy,thus to include any of the services.(let them advertise their own news,that way they are in control)

If you are to write articles about anyone you must have their full consent (in writing) and give them two weeks notice of print.

The same rules should apply to chasing people for interviews.

They should tackle the issue of 'opinion' writers too, some of them use it as a means to attack (the guardian has done this against a certain newspaper company quite a bit, how immature) and, they wonder why their paper sales are shite?


Looks like it will just be a few pages of TV listings, horoscopes and adverts then....

He should also praise the paper editors who are in no way involved in some of the filth that went on.

But, all rules are to be set in place for the sake of all newspapers, so, we don't find this kind of situation happening again in the future.

Maldon MP John Whittingdale has criticised the Leveson inquiry into phone hacking, claiming it descended into an opportunity to “kick the Press”.

Mr Whittingdale, chairman of the Commons culture select committee, said that instead of concentrating on the real issues, the inquiry became a chance for people to “unburden” themselves.

Speaking to BBC Radio 4's Media Show on Wednesday, Mr Whittingdale accused Lord Justice Leveson of helping people settle "grudges" with newspapers.

He said to journalist Steve Hewlett: “I think Leveson has almost encouraged anybody who has a grudge against the Press over many years to come and unburden themselves in front of him – and as a result he has been looking at things that are a long way from what he was meant to."

Why shouldn't people come forward, if it has affected them personally then, so they should, I wish idiots like this guy would stop trying to play it down, hacking peoples phones and behaving like a nasty bastard in general ruins peoples lives, what some of the press have done to people is very very cruel and if I had my way, the ones who took it too far (like involving celebs children and putting notes in their school childrens bags etc), should be locked up for a long time, that is sick behaviour.

They have done wrong and they will not be getting a way out of it.

When they poke their nose in to peoples lives and broadcast it to make money they have to take the consequences.

It wasn't just celebrities either.
