He's obviously a 'silly little man', so while being sacked for making a 'sick joke' may seem harsh, he doesn't seem to possess suitable qualities to hold that position to start with.

I think it might have been better though, if the woman he made the crack to had humiliated him about it at the there and then, and hopefully that would have been an end to it.

Lets look at how the police defend the Military Industrial Complex and now two women who worked as cops are dead because of arms manufactures ironic really.

If the police became the peoples police rather than big business's police things might change.
