oh so only killings of more than 1 person count. if just 1 person is murdered at a time its ok.

the gun debate at the moment in the US is about mass killing with assault type weapons is it not? from a European perspective your just a bunch of nutjobs.

but let me explain some things..
assault weapon is just a semi automatic rifle. you shoot 1 bullet per squeeze. this is same as a pistols and double action revolvers, and lots of other rifles.
you know what makes a rifle an assault weapon....................

pistol grips, stock etc... that makes a semi auto rifle into assault weapon, and they want to ban that.

so where does it stop? right to bear arms is in the constitution. to protect against tyrannical govt.
if gov. starts saying , well you know this gun looks pretty scary you're not allowed it. what next? we have plans to get drones over head. logging ppls text, phone, email, searches. then they decide oh, you know, all rifles are scary. pistols are scary. knives are scary. bricks are scary.

so like you say oh we are just nut jobs here, its only about assault weapons and mass killings. no, its not. its about all guns and freedom from the gov telling us what can and cant own when it is clear in the constitution the right to bear arms, along with life liberty and pursuit of happiness. and it is brain washing. and afaik murder is already a crime.

If we want to rid the world of guns then we need to rid the world of the core issues that lead to the need for weaponry.
These are primarily economic in nature, money = motive.

If we were to live in a world with a resource based economy with plenty of everything then why would we need to fight over anything anymore?
