Actually looking at it I'd say theres quite a few who were not cheering the cops on but sounded miffed at what was happening imho.

The first I've watched the footage and my guess is that the police thought that crowd was about to turn on them so they hauled ass with chappy still cuffed to the back rather than risk hanging about any longer.

That might be accurate, but I'm surprised they didn't have their guns drawn if they were fearful.

This article states that 8 officers have been suspended in connection with this death, and will be charged with murder in court on Monday.

Its obviously nothing new and is on the rise.
