Ah, I thought it was going to be about those who are found dead in police custody.

there are quite a few crimes where life should mean life - singling out police officers in the same week as child sex grooming gangs have not received a life means life sentence seems crass.

Except when it's done 'lawfully' .... or by the police.

Have just browsed the full article and another in the guardian - what it boils down to is not putting human life as sacrosanct but saying that the lives of those doing the masters bidding are more important than ours. It is about attempting to instil fear into a population who are increasingly becoming fed up with the policies and failings of our governments and the 1%.

I value all life equally as said elsewhere and would never condone the deliberate killing or injuring of a police officer (for reasons that do not include self defence) - not because they are a police officer but because they are a fellow human being.

Come on,everybody knows the lives of people who work for the police are more important than nurses,doctors,ambulance crew,shop workers,office staff etc.
